International Women's Day

International Women’s Day is celebrated every year on March 8th to honour and celebrate women’s achievements, recognize their contributions to society, and advocate for gender equality.

The theme of 2023 is “Choose to Challenge”. It aims at vouching for equality in professional and personal lives to create a more inclusive world.

This is a day to celebrate the achievements of women who have made a difference in their communities and to recognize the importance of their contributions.

Although women have come a long way in their fight, there is a lot more to be done. Hence, this Women’s Day, let's reflect on the progress that has been made and recognize the challenges that still exist, like the stereotypes and biases that hold women back. 

It is important to acknowledge women’s vital role in shaping society and the world at large. Women have made significant strides in various fields, including education, science, politics, and business. One area where women have made a significant impact is in foreign language education.

At foreign language institutes, women are not only learners but also teachers and administrators. They play a crucial role in bringing the best out of their students. They bring a unique perspective to foreign language education, and their contributions are invaluable.

To all the women out there, take this day to get started or resume your career and set yourself up for success. You don't only succeed in your life, but also set examples for all the young girls who look up to you.
